COVID-19 Safety Measures
New Studio Setup
Including both clients and team members, our studio capacity will be less than 50% of what it was previously. No more than 4 nail artists will be able to work in the studio at the same time.
We will be seating all guests 6 feet apart, even if you booked with a friend. We understand this isn’t an ideal scenario; however, we appreciate your understanding.
Acrylic partitions will be used for all manicure services, and face shields will be used for all pedicure services.
Nail artists, and all guests, will be required to wear a face mask or face covering. If you are unable to wear a mask for health reasons, please reach out to us prior to booking your appointment.
We have extended our recovery time between clients for proper disinfection and sterilization between services.
We will be suspending our drink service in an effort to reduce physical touch points, as well as the need to remove your mask.
We will remove all magazines and books from shared spaces to help reduce the number of surfaces prone to contamination.
Booking & Cancellation Policies
We will operate by appointment only. We cannot accept walk-in appointments at this time.
You may cancel up to 3 hours before the start of your appointment. Cancellations made within 3 hours of the appointment start time will be charged 50% of the service total.
Appointments held for 10 minutes or longer without prior notification will be subject to a charge of 100% of the service total. All late arrivals risk either receiving an abbreviated service or losing the appointment all together.
Check-In & Check-Out
We’re going cashless (and contactless)! Please ensure that the card you would like to use to pay for your services is already on file with us at time of check-in.
Tips can be paid in cash with exact change (no change will be made), or via Venmo (preferred).
We ask that you arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. When you arrive, please call us at 608-630-9770, or text us at so we can confirm your entry to make a color selection. The use of our reception area will be temporarily suspended, meaning we cannot have clients in the reception area during times of appointment overlap. You may be asked to wait outside until your appointment is ready to begin.
Please do not bring guests with you for your service, unless they are also scheduled for a service.
What Our Team Is Doing
Our team members have signed illness waivers, and will be logging their temperatures at the start of every shift.
Hands will be washed at the start of every shift, and in between appointments.
As usual, a new pair of gloves will be used for every service.
As usual, disposable implements will not be reused. Reusable implements will be sterilized in a hospital-grade autoclave between each use.
Sterilization, sanitation, and disinfection measures between services will be more frequent, and more thorough. Our whole team has been re-trained on the Laquerus standard sterilization protocol, as well as the additional measures we will be taking to ensure your safety.
Our restroom will be cleaned twice daily instead of once daily.
Pencils and pens will be immediately disinfected after use.
First time clients will still fill out a client intake form, and all pens and pencils will be disinfected after use.
What We Ask of You
Required: You will be expected to wash your hands when you arrive for your appointment. If the restroom is unavailable, please use hand sanitizer to disinfect your hands.
Required: Wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you upon arrival, free of charge.
Confirm that we have your desired credit card information on file prior to entering the studio.
Required: Do not enter the studio until you have spoken with a member of our team who has confirmed your entry.
Please limit the items you touch in the studio to only the polish color that you’ve selected for your service and the retail items you’ve selected to purchase.
Please do not “try on” polish colors by painting your own nails. If you’re deciding between colors, an artist can help you once your service has started.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to comply with our required safety protocols.
Please have patience with us as we try to keep you as safe as possible. If you have any questions for us, or feel that part of our business practice doesn’t meet your standards, please email us so the right parties can address the complaint and be provided an opportunity to make it right.
